Kirkham Young are proud to be members of the REC, the Recruitment and Employment Confederation and every two years, members are expected to complete a Compliance Test, so the REC can determine whether members can renew their membership.
These test’s questions cover key industry legislation and in particular the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 (the Conduct Regulations) and the REC Code of Professional Practice. When agencies join the REC they sign up to the REC Code which requires basic statutory compliance as well as higher ethical standards.
And guess what? We passed and with flying colours! Here’s the proof…
“Congratulations! You have passed the REC’s Compliance Test.
You have successfully achieved a percentage of at least 80% and have answered all the Red Flag questions, if relevant, correctly. Your score has now been recorded against your organisation record.
As an REC Member you will now be required to complete the on-line Compliance Test every two years to demonstrate your commitment to professional standards.”
