Medical technology company, Smith+Nephew has announced a partnership with Rods&Cones to provide smart surgery glasses and digital remote assistance to customers.

The smart surgery glasses will enable Smith+Nephew representatives to “see through the eyes of the surgeon” and allow them to offer technical support for the safe and effective use of their products from anywhere in the world. The smart glasses can also be used by nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Rods&Cones, a company that provides a remote assistance service to connect medical experts worldwide, has entered into a multi-year agreement with Smith+Nephew to allow the med-tech company to scale its remote support capability for customers.
