A new dental surgery and laboratory has opened its doors in Moortown, Leeds after securing a seven-figure investment package from HSBC UK.
Operating out of a 2,500sq ft facility, The Dentist was founded by partners James Taylor and Mike Goldstone and boasts three treatment rooms and an in-house laboratory to provide crown and veneer milling services as part of its private dental practice.
In addition to this, the space is also home to a design mill and specialist fabrication equipment to create bespoke 3D printed crowns and replacements for individual patients as part of a same-day service.
The new facility is expected to generate more than 15 new jobs in the area over the coming months, especially to fill roles as dentists and manufacturing technicians.
Co-founder and director of The Dentist, James Taylor, said: “The concept for The Dentist has long been in the making so it's incredibly satisfying to see this vision finally realised thanks to the assistance from HSBC UK. The core team behind this project has been involved from the early stages all the way to arranging our first bookings.
“We're proud to bring the latest procedures and tech to market from our Leeds site and hope to lead the way in medical innovation for many years to come.”
