HSBC UK has bolstered a medical communications firm from Cheshire with a seven-figure funding package which will facilitate its rapid growth and expansion in years to come.
Operating in biotech, pharmaceuticals and healthcare industries, Prime Global comprises of six specialist consultancies and medical communications agencies. The financial investment will allow the company to create up to 60 new jobs so as to expand its range of services to cater to new markets, and to meet existing and sustained demand from its existing clients.
The jobs are expected to be split across its Knutsford, Cheshire and London hubs.
The company’s aim is to increase turnover by 40 per cent in the span of a year.
Chief executive and chairman Graeme Peterson commented: “We've enjoyed strong growth over recent years but now have an opportunity to accelerate this with strategic investments which will dramatically scale-up our offering to new and existing clients while also creating jobs.
"With the support and guidance of HSBC UK we are now ideally positioned to make this ambition reality."
HSBC UK’s corporate relationship director in Greater Manchester, Zubayr Atcha, said: "In the communications sector, it's investment into staff that ultimately underpins the success of a business. So, it's a pleasure to support Prime Global as it expands and we look forward to seeing Graeme’s team continue to grow."
