Medical IT Support Engineer – PACS

Established in the 1930s this global pioneer of imaging technology has an impressive track record of innovation and product development. Its medical division is well known for its high quality, market leading equipment for conventional and digital radiology including digital mammography, CR, DR, mobile units and x-ray generators as well as PACS.
The company has experienced phenomenal growth and is now looking for an experienced healthcare IT support engineer to provide technical support for the companyâ€™s Medical Informatics portfolio of products (software/hardware), both remotely and at hospital sites.
Experience of PACS and VNA Solutions, VMware, Oracle database; SQL and Microsoft Windows Server knowledge and relevant experience is essential and HL7 experience is preferred. You will have previous experience of working in the field, taking responsibility for your workload unsupervised and managing your time effectively to provide a high level of customer service. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be adept at building strong working relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
Centrally based and with good access to the road network you will be happy to travel extensively across the region and take part in an on-call rota.
