Great role for an expert in healthcare IT to join a market leading clinical diagnostics company.
Taking responsibility for end-to-end design of complex IT solutions for hospital laboratories, you will use your extensive medical IT experience coupled with your well-honed leadership skills and commercial acumen to ensure a first-class customer experience.
You could currently be working in a technical integration or consultancy role with a LIMS provider or potentially PACS / RIS with some man management or team leadership experience and want a step up in your career. In this demanding and varied role, you will be responsible for providing first class training and applications support on PACS and radiology informatics. You will need to have at least two years’ post qualification experience as a radiographer coupled with expertise in teaching and training. If you have worked as a clinical application specialist before this would be a distinct advantage but is not essential as full training will be given. You will also need a BSc Radiography, Assistant Practitioner or equivalent, expertise in CR, DR and PACS administration and current HPC registration. You will need to have an outgoing, friendly personality and have a passion for sharing the knowledge and skills you have acquired.
Based close to major motorway networks between the M62 in the north and M4 in the south, you will work alongside the sales specialists and will need to be able to travel locally as well as across the UK from time to time. You should therefore be comfortable staying away from home overnight.
