Educated in a science based degree (ideally Biomedical Sciences) you will cover hospitals across your region with key accounts in London, Kent, Surrey & Berkshire. Responsible for a market leading, premium product range you will be able to think and sell strategically and be able to open doors and build relationships with not only clinicians but also at Procurement level and within Hospital Finance and have a clear understanding of the changing NHS within Secondary Care. In order to be successful in this varied role you will therefore need at least three years medical sales experience within laboratory or medical device sales (this role is not suitable for candidates from a pharmaceutical sales background) with a solid CV and a proven track record of success and knowledge of hospital pathology.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a talented scientific account manager to join a global market leader in diagnostics in order to reflect the growing needs of the business across the Midlands region. This innovative product range offers an end to end solution for pathology laboratories ranging from disposables through, reagents and bench top equipment and you will therefore need both a science based education and solution based sales experience into hospital laboratories.

Covering key accounts across the East & West Midlands region you will focus on pathology laboratories including those in Warwickshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire where you will develop and maintain sales for the Microbiology and Molecular Biology division offering a range of solutions including sexual health testing, and liquid based cytology.

Working closely within the clinical team and cross business teams you will form long term relationships with your customers within a broad range of clients including the Health Protection Agency, NHS Laboratories and Private Sector Healthcare laboratories to achieve the company target with key customers to establish relationships with the new pathology hubs.

Product Specialist – Surgical Ophthalmics (Intraocular Lenses) – South UK

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced ophthalmic medical sales specialist..

Covering the South, key customers include Ophthalmic Surgeons, Theatre Sisters and associated theatre personnel with key accounts located across London, the Home Counties and along the M4 corridor. You will be responsible for the sales of a range of leading ophthalmic devices as well as providing ongoing customer care and training.

The product portfolio consists of intraocular lenses.

Candidates must have previous experience of the surgical ophthalmic market and be looking to progress from being a successful Territory Manager into a BDM/Key Account Management/Product Specialist role, or be an existing BDM looking for an exciting new challenge.
