A private healthcare provider based in Yorkshire has opened its doors to a new hospital facility after receiving a seven-figure funding package from HSBC UK.
The Kinvara Private Hospital will operate as a multi-specialist medical centre in Rotherham, offering treatments in numerous fields including orthopaedics, gynaecology, general surgery, plastic and cosmetic surgery, and in ENT.
As a result, it is anticipated that the new hospital will generate a number of highly-skilled medical jobs.
At present, the hospital runs a four-bed facility, each with an en suite. Over time, Kinvara is expected to expand to two floors with over 30 beds, increasing the range of services on offer alongside the development of the facility.
Director of Kinvara Private Hospital, Suzanne Reynolds, commented: “We believe opening Kinvara will improve the standard of care available to patients across the North of England. We are already booked up until April, so it’s been a very promising start to the business.”
Relationship manager for HSBC UK’s South and East Yorkshire business banking, David Leonard, said: “The scale of creating a new private hospital is obviously huge but the team working on this project have met every challenge along the way with positivity.
"From identifying and acquiring a location to extensively refurbishing it, they have excelled at finding effective business solutions to create a facility that resembles a 5-star hotel as much as a hospital. We’re delighted to support a business that can create multiple skilled job roles in South Yorkshire.”
