Accreditation enhances US medical sales job applicants

Applicants for medical equipment sales jobs in the USA will now be able to prove their skills with a new level of industry standard accreditation.
The National Association of Medical Sales Representatives (NAMSR) has been named the sole approved accreditor of certification bodies for entry-level medical device and equipment sales.
The NAMSR Registered Medical Sales Representative Certification has been recently cited with the U.S. Department of Labor Certification Board.
NAMSR's designation as the accreditor for the RMSR Certification programme has been documented in new revisions to their recent manual. The manual provides guidance and procedures for the medical sales training, certification and management of the medical device and equipment sales workforce.
Since the introduction of the previous standards, industry observers have said they have made a vast contribution to raising the benchmark for reps and have created an environment of perseverance and self-improvement. They say the RMSR certification and accreditation enhances the credibility and qualifications for medical device sales applicants.
To gain certification, an independent assessor has to observe and evaluate the candidate through their certification process, determining if the examination is evaluating the identified competencies and enhancing manufacturer, consumer and public confidence in a certification program and in the person who holds the certification.
